Here it is....Emily O'Brien Design's new logo! Woohoo! I wanted this logo to be fun and free, but serious when it needs to be. Here you will see a small 'e' circled by an 'o' representing EO from Emily O'Brien.
This logo had many different good sketch options. I truly had no idea as to the direction I wanted to go in for this one. Designing a logo for myself is something that I have worked on for years. I have spent so much time sketching for this over the past years, that all I felt that I was getting out of this was a few really good sketches.
Once a class assignment forced me to build up the confidence to move into Illustrator, I started to really like what I was seeing. But again, I could not decide what direction I wanted to go in. These roughs below were in the final "round" of designs. I ultimately decided to go with the logo that I did and I am oh so proud as it truly represents my brand.
This logo needed two sets. One set to just be the logo with no backgrounds of any sort. This logo can appear on letterheads, business cards, etc. I'd like to add the importance of the color palette. This was inspired by my current favorite sketch book that just brings me a lot of happiness and brightness. The black was added in for those less colorful moments.
This next set reminds me more of a "stamp." This logo will appear on stamps, stickers and everything in between.
